1. Acceptance
If you use PDFSmiles on behalf of an organization, you confirm you have authority to bind that organization. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Terms of Service

These terms govern your access to and use of PDFSmiles products, modules, websites, APIs, the PDFSmiles Android app, and related services. By using PDFSmiles, you agree to these terms. Questions: PDFSmiles@gmail.com.
2. The service
PDFSmiles provides tools for PDF work, OCR, handwriting, media conversion, ResumeMaker, ATS Lab, templates, logos, social automation, meeting tools, software studio offerings, and optional developer APIs, including the PDFSmiles Android app that opens the same website inside a secure WebView. Features may change as we improve the platform.
3. Accounts & API access
You are responsible for safeguarding login credentials and API tokens. Usage limits, billing, and organization access may be defined in-product or in a separate commercial agreement. Do not share tokens publicly or use another person’s account without permission.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the platform: no unlawful content, malware, attempts to disrupt infrastructure, scraping that harms service availability, unauthorized access to other users’ data, or using outputs to violate third-party rights. We may suspend access for abuse or security risk.
5. Your content
You retain rights to files you upload. You grant PDFSmiles a limited license to process that content solely to provide the features you request. You confirm you have the right to upload and process the materials you submit.
6. Plans, billing & refunds
Paid plans, credits, and API usage are billed according to the pricing shown at checkout or in your agreement. Website and in-app purchases of those plans are processed by Razorpay (not Google Play Billing). Fees are generally non-refundable except where required by law or where we explicitly offer a refund. Taxes may apply based on your location.
7. Intellectual property
PDFSmiles branding, UI, software, and documentation remain our property (or our licensors’). These terms do not transfer ownership of our IP to you. Feedback you send may be used to improve the product without obligation to you.
8. Disclaimers
The service is provided “as is.” We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, perfect OCR/ATS accuracy, or fitness for a particular legal, medical, or financial purpose. Review critical outputs before you rely on them.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, PDFSmiles is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, data, or business opportunities arising from use of the service. Our aggregate liability for claims relating to the service is limited to the amounts you paid us in the three months before the claim.
10. Termination
You may stop using PDFSmiles at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms or create risk to the platform or other users. Sections that by nature should survive (IP, disclaimers, liability limits) continue after termination.
11. Changes
We may update these terms. The “Last updated” date will change when revisions are published. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
